Keeps food cold, but develops leaks quickly These kept my food cold all day, if I used 2 at a time (one on top of the food and the other below). However, they leaked within a few months’ use. Before I was using 2 at a time, I dutifully changed them out every day, so that I can wear out the 3 packs evenly. Within weeks, I realized I had to start packing them within sealable plastic bags to keep the gel from getting all over my lunch bag.
I absolutely love the design and the fact that they stay cold … I absolutely love the design and the fact that they stay cold for a long time. The treason I’m giving this product only 2 starts is because all of my ice packs got deformed and doubled in size after being put in the freezer. I can barely fit one in my lunchbox now. Not sure what caused this and I wonder if anyone else had this problem?
They’re adorable, and they last forever! Who knew I would get so excited about ice packs? First of all, they’re adorable. Which doesn’t really matter in the long run because no one sees them but me, but it makes me happy. However, what is actually important is that they work. I use these in my lunchbox that I bring to work because the fridge is too small for everyone. I keep my lunchbox in a locker.
