Great for day hikes
Customer Video Review Length:: 0:27 Mins These aluminum trekking poles seem to be solid especially for the price. The quick lock features are preferable to the other types of locks that I’ve used. The cork grips are good in that it absorbs the sweat from my hands better and drys out quickly. These are a little bit heavier than my carbon fiber ones, so these will typically be used for day hikes rather than my longer multi day hikes.
Great Carbon Fiber Poles for the money Used these on several multi mile hikes of varying degrees of difficulty including steep rocky bushwacking and mellow walks and they worked just like the high priced sticks. They are light and strong and after some use you get the locking mechanism tension set nice and tight and they aren’t going to slip. Comes with a bunch of tips but I mostly use the sharp steel point with the mud attachment a few inches above to keep the poles from going to deep in occasional soft earth on steep slopws. I…
