The Yeti Killer! 5 star Only! Does NOT keep ice for days!!! Says it keeps ice for up to 5 days. No… if your lucky 1. Added 20 pounds of ice, within 5 HOURS it was down to half, cooler was sitting in the shade on an 80 degree day. We have this same model color that we bought years ago and it does GREAT, but I guess over the years, they have just cheaped out and not putting as much insulation in them. I don’t know, but We’re sadly disappointed. And also, WHO in their right minds makes a cooler in DARK BLUE??? Aren’t they supposed to be light…
Expensive plastic box !!! I have ordered many things from amazon and I have always been pleased with the quality of each item! I received my igloo cold max 50 quart cooler today and I am extremely disappointed!!! The hinges, latch and drain plug are of the poorest quality! The screw cap on the drain plug will not even tighten up, does it leak? Absolutely !!! 10 lbs of ice melted in less than 5hrs! I had the cooler inside my home for the test!
