Quick & Cool ice chests have a convenient hatch that allows quick access to the cooler without opening the entire lid, keeping contents cold longer. Snap lock child safety latch. Both the hatch door and lid are Ultratherm insulated for maximum performance.

BIGð | $ð | top hatch ð | Keeps Cold ð | plastic latches ð It’s BIG! if you load it, it’s HEAVY. We use this to give away water and Popsicles in the park so we love how the top has a hatch that opens up. It’s a little door that’s about 1ftX1ft that can be used so the whole top doesn’t have to be offed up.
Cooler Review Large Cooler for camping. It will keep ices for two days at 100 degree temps, but there is a fair amount of melting. We mainly use it for a beverage cooler at the lake. Weakness – cheap hinge/latch to hold the door close, broken by the second weekend. The living hinge is a poor design and inadequate for the designed purpose..
Sub-par insulation in lid Edit: I increase my rating one star after doing more research on the Igloo coolers. Apparently, there are two identical looking versions of the 100 qt. Igloo coolers (perhaps other sizes as well). The “Quick and Cool” and the “Maxcold”. I owned the Maxcold version for the last 10 years and have been extremely happy. I would even say it’s the best performing cooler I have ever owned. I purchased the “Quick and Cool” thinking it was the same as the look is identical…
