InstaFire fire starter is optimal for starting campfires, wood-burning stoves, outdoor fire pits and indoor fireplaces. This set of 18 individual packs of fire starter contains no harmful chemicals or vapors-just recycled wood pellets, volcanic rock and a patented blend of food-grade paraffin wax. Each pack of InstaFire fire starter will light up to four fires in all types of weather, including 30 mile-per-hour winds, rain and even snow. Place the contents of a pack of InstaFire fire starter under your wood, and light the fire starter with a match or lighter for a hot, even flame without flare-ups. InstaFire fire starter burns at nearly one-thousand degrees-hot enough to light wet wood. Besides being nontoxic, the leftover ash is a natural fertilizer that will nourish the earth. The fire starter is not a combustible fuel that can explode spontaneously. It is safe to store indoors or outdoors, even near food and won’t cause any conflicts with local flammable storage ordinances. With a 30-year shelf life, you can always have some InstaFire fire starter on hand for recreational purposes or as part of your emergency-preparedness plan. Use it anywhere you need a quick light: at the campsite for fun, warmth, or to power an outdoor grill; while hunting in the wilderness; in an indoor fireplace or outdoor fire pit; at an RV park; or in an emergency situation where you need heat. The product is made in the USA by Insta-Fire, Inc. It is safe, simple and versatile.

Definitely light with just a touch of flame! Went camping on an island that allowed you to collect wood that was down. Unfortunately, just about all the wood was still damp from recent rainfall. I was very glad to have these fire starter packs. I had to use a whole pack per use and sometimes a couple when the first one burned out quicker than hoped and the wood was still smoking, not lit yet. I’d just apply another bag. They do light immediately with just a simple touch of a flame so I consider them the easiest fire starters out there. I…

Great fire starter for grill and it keeps fire going for 15 minutes. Finally had a chance to use it to start my BBQ over the weekend. It worked as advertised and the starter sands and rocks kept the fire going for 15 minutes until the charcoals turned nicely white. I only use 1/4 of the package and it started my grill sufficiently. Some people had bad experiences with it! I believe they were not using it properly. I put the charcoals around and above the pile before I light the starter, so it has air going through, but not enough to blow the pile, see picture…

Wish I could give this 10 *s…….super awesome product Saw this on Shark Tank and wanted to try……this stuff is awesome!!! We used only one pack for our campfire and it kept burning for a long while – well after the logs caught. There was no oily, smelly chemicals or toxic smoke like some fire starters that are paraffin based. This burned clean so we had a nice relaxing fire to enjoy – no poking or prodding necessary to get the fire going.
