Utility knife good for cutting carpets This is a solid, no-frills utility knife (marketed as a carpet knife in this form). It comes with some blades inside the handle, just rotate the central screw. The handle has good grip and the angled design reduces the odds that it will slip and cut you. There is a groove that holds the blade in place that doesn’t have too much give, keeping the blade stable.
