The IRWIN VISE-GRIP Locking Multi-Pliers with Wire Cutter, Curved Jaw, feature the legendary locking pliers performance tradesmen have trusted since 1924. Constructed of high-grade, heat-treated alloy steel, it has an innovative curved jaw design that provides maximum torque with pressure on four points on any style nut or bolt head. Pressure and fit is adjustable with just the turn of a screw while the guarded trigger release can be engaged with only one hand for increased versatility. The 5WR Locking Multi-Pliers include a fold-out stainless steel serrated knife blade, a fold-out screwdriver including a ¼” bit holder with 6-8 slotted and #2 Phillips bits. This 4-tools-in-1 design and added wire cutter allows users to carry fewer tools on the job.

Knife opens on the plyer side on wrong end. Heavy and too large to carry in pocket. These are ok but there is two things I dont like about these. They are too big to carry around in your pocket. Then one of the dumest things is the knife opens on the end of the pliers. The pliers block half of the blade. I turned around and fliped the screws on the blade and much better but the brittle screws broke when I went to tighten and had to use another bolt. They are also heavy. Vise Grip need to make the same thing for the pocket. A smaller PR4 base and the knife that opens on the…
The vise grips work great (as expected) It’s the original Irwin Vise Grip quality. The vise grips work great (as expected). The knife unfolds and locks nicely, but can be a bit awkward to use because the the plier jaws can be in the way. It’s a tradeoff. Still a handy feature in my opinion, but probably not as handy as having the blade fold out from the ends on the handles (they made a model like that many years ago and I still have it).
Add American Made clip and carry this instead of just a knife. If you want to get something American Made on this Leatherman makes a pocket clip for the “Kick” multitool that fits perfectly. It’s Leatherman product number 934860. I don’t know why they don’t stock it on Amazon but I couldn’t find it at the time. I Googled it and found it for $5. You’ll need two 2.5mm allen wrenches to loosen the post and bolster pin of screwdriver tip holder. Put the pocket clip on the flat side away from the knife side. You can choose to put a thread sealant…
