The new IZZO Swami 6000 is one of the fastest, easiest to operate handheld Golf GPS devices on the market today. The Swami 6000 comes preloaded with over 38, 000 global course maps and provides accurate distances to the Front, Center and Back of the green, as well as layup and carry distances to hazards and doglegs. There are no annual subscription fees, and course map additions and updates are free of charge. We’ve also added some new and enhanced many existing features of our best-selling Swami 5000 without sacrificing the simplistic nature that Swami users love. The jury still out of this item. I had the model 5000 and I had to return it (battery didn’t function right). Now I had the 6000, and I used it today in 45 degree weather and it kept shutting off. I’ll give it one more shot, if it keeps shutting off I’m returning it. It may have been the cold weather.
BAD EXPERIENCE!!! The buttons do not work well. Especially the down button is hardly to make command, sometime down button event stuck. It also didn’t register yardages correctly. Very disappointed.
Accurate GPS Great product . pros the new charging system is 100% better than the previous models. The yardage is always right on to front middle and back of green. This GPS is very reliable. Con If you are keeping your score , you have to wait until you get 60yds away from previous hole to record you score. Can be a problem sometimes because you may forget. Everything else about this GPS is great. I would totally recommend this product.
