I replaced the clip on the back of my Midland 75-822 CB with a ‘Universal Replacement Microphone Hanging Button” and it works gr This looks very slick and functions as it should. I replaced the clip on the back of my Midland 75-822 CB with a ‘Universal Replacement Microphone Hanging Button” and it works great.I think the price is steep, but I couldn’t find other options.
Must have for the Cobra 75 WXT This mount fit my Cobra 75 SWXT perfectly. I eneded up not installing the additional spacer for the outer edge of the grab bar due to poor fitment and it was quite frankly unnecessary. Your grab bar is not really a high stress area and rarely has an immense load applied to it. This mount marries well the cobra 75 WXT it holds the radio securely even wehen bouncing around on the rocks my mic/radio has not once even budged from it mount in over 500 miles of trail usage.
Easy install Very well made and very easy to install, don’t even need the instruction to install CB mount. I’ll be using it also for my 2way radio not just my CB.
