Great toolbox. The metal toolbox itself is excellent quality Great toolbox. The metal toolbox itself is excellent quality. The reason for four stars instead of five is due to the plastic tray. The tray was warped a little. While the tray is still basically functional, I would have preferred to not have had it warped. That being said, I really like the concept of having removable dividers in the tray. I would purchase this product again if the need arises.
Nice Box Smooth gloss black paint. Kind of has like old school feel to it. Sturdy hinges and clasp. Handle lies almost flat. Overall dimensions represent fully usable capacity unlike plastic molded boxes or boxes with angled lids of the same size.
As expected. It will suit my needs. Large enough for a couple of hammers (including one small rubber mallet) and other tools. The tray at first seems to sit high, but then I realized that is by design so that it fits into the lid space when closed. This leaved more room in the bottom section for larger tools. The tray comes with a large number of dividers, so if you want to store small screws or washers, I guess you could, but I left them all out and I store screwdrivers, smaller wrenches, and a utility…
