FUNNY… I got the new antenna and my radio quit..! Funny.. I got the new antenna for my old C.B. Radio, used it a day or two, and the old radio just quit powering up..! I did get a great SWR Match ( 1.2 to 1 ) and the antenna worked well, while the radio was working.. I had several long distance ( 4 to 6 mile ) radio reports, with good receive on both ends.. Great little antenna. Really flexible. Received the package next day. Packaging was ok. Only problem was the adhesive to hold things in place. Scratched a tiny hole in the bottom cover. Easy to fix. I have adhesive exterior vinyl. Put everything together. Shoved the whip all the way down. The allen wrench rounded off. Ran the antenna cable, hooked it up to my meter, CH1 was 1 and CH40 was 1.3 and hitting 3 for power output without having to adjust the whip.
