GrandWay X52 is a folding blade karambit knife designed to be worn within the limits of any city. The blade has a typical claw shape. From the back side of it there is a strap cutter capable of quick and efficient cutting the thin rope, paracord, cords, etc.
The knife is made of 440C steel with a rather good resistance to corrosion and ability of retaining the sharpness of the cutting edge for a long time. And this model has a gray anti-glare coating such as Ti-Ni (Titanium Nitride) which gives additional anti-corrosion protection.
The handle of the knife is 2 steel liners connected with screws and remote stack bolts. On the both sides of the handle there are two cover plates made of wood. Traditionally the handle ends with a big ring. For the best retention you may put your index finger or thumb in ring which obviously fit in there and even in winter in the glove.
The liner lock is used as the locking mechanism. It is very simple and undemanding lock which allows closing and opening the knife with one hand.
Karambit knives (also known as kerambit, carambit or cerambit) are applicable for civilian purposes as well and will perfectly cope with the cutting of cardboard, rope, scotch, tape and so on. Thay have a purely peaceful application in fishing, farming, work and for nearly every challenge, job or task.
Magnificent appearance combined with compactness makes of this knife a perfect gift.
