CAREFUL BUYERS! Deceiving picture: did not come with Velcro closure! Great sturdy shoes, so I give it 5 starts, BUT be careful: the shoes I ordered ( size 5 big kids) DID NOT COME WITH VELCRO CLOSURE like shown on the picture!!! That was the reason I ordered these for my son with fine motor difficulties. Seller, please update or specify this. I will keep these because they fit well and hope he will learn to tighten them on his own, but if I knew I would not even order.
They are nicely constructed, waterproof and look like they’ll be warm … My 2yr old daughter loves these boots. They are nicely constructed, waterproof and look like they’ll be warm enough in the light snow we get (maximum of 6 inches per storm), as long as she has thick socks on. She can put them on herself which she also likes to be able to do. They’re not very tall, but she doesn’t sink far into the snow anyway.They will also be nice for wet weather.
Too hard to put on My 10 year old daughter has only worn these for about a month. She finds them very comfortable however they are really hard for her to put on, unless she has a shoe horn handy.We went for a hike this past weekend and she got something in her shoe. Very hard on MY fingers to help her get the shoe back on.For that reason, I don’t think I’d recommend these or buy them again.
