stitching failed after not much use bought these almost 2 years ago, liked them, but didn’t wear that often.about 6 months ago, the stitching on the left eyelet strip came undone… a surprise as my other Keen shoes have been durable.I attached a photo of the failed stitching, and also of the sole to illustrate there wasn’t much wear on these shoes.

Comfort and Quality Let me begin by saying this is the fifth pair of KEEN’s I have purchased. I have the Austin Shoe in black as well. In all honesty, I can not remember how many years ago I purchased them. I knew what size to order because their sizing is very consistent. Keen are the most comfortable shoes (and work boots) I’ve worn. They’re made with extra room across the toe area so I don’t need to buy a wide size. A Go to Shoe for the work place or just being casual This is my second pair of Austin Keen’s (I’ve owned 5 pairs of diffrent styles) and I came back to this model because it gets the job done. I work on my feet all day for work. This shoe is sturdy and seems to keep my body from breaking down from the foundation. The only major caveat I will give the rookie Keen wearer is they take a long time to break in compared to a sneaker like Nike, or Adidas.
