Great bag that’s not for backpacking! This is a great sleeping bag. It is wonderful for car camping. The coldest we had it in so far was 27 and there was frost on it in the morning. It was pretty cool at that temperature. The main point to realize is how big it is. We took into White Sands National Monument to go for a couple nights and we had to hike a mile and a half or so to get to the camping site. We LOVE this sleeping bag! Wish we would have bought it years ago We bought and tried out this sleeping bag on our most recent camping trip. Granted, we were in a trailer so we didn’t get a chance to test it out “in the wild” but wow – this thing was awesome! For years, we’ve had the problem where my wife is freezing, and I’m roasting.
