exactly what i was looking for Works as expected, been wanting one to put in my truck just in case since i go on my property and out in nature regularly. Just make sure you grab the right one if your looking for the compass and the whistle one kit has that built into the fire stick the other doesn’t
Works great but I need to practice First time I’ve ever used one of these do getting the fire going was more of a challenge so if you aren’t experienced with them it’s suggest you practice before you need it. The stick works great after you scrape the coating off so the issue was with me and not the starter. I’ll keep them in my vehicles for emergencies.. I’d recommend it!
Nice, works great. It’s a very straight forward survival tool (I got the 1 without compass).Makes great sparks with fair ease. I’ve used quite a few magnesium fire starters before and have to say quality of this 1 is quite good.Would recommend. You get 2 in a pack. Great to just toss it into your backpack and leave it there for an emergency.
