The Cryo was made in successful collaboration between custom knifemaker Rick Hinderer and Kershaw experts. The 2.75-inch blade, accessible with the built-in flipper or the thumbstud, is made of 8Cr13MoV steel, known for its toughness, edge retention and resistance to corrosion and wear. The Cryo is coated with matte gray titanium carbo-nitride, increasing the blade’s hardness, helping maintain the edge, increasing longevity of the blade, and providing a sleek no-fuss look. The Cryo offers a tough frame lock and lockbar stabilizer for secure blade lockup, SpeedSafe assisted opening for fast and easy one-handed opening and a user adjustable, 4-position deep-carry pocketclip for convenient low-in-the-pocket carry. Like all Hinderer knives, the Cryo is designed to be a sturdy, aesthetically pleasing knife with good in-hand feel. The Cryo is the ideal EDC with the tactical quality and hard-use looks of a Hinderer and the expertly engineered construction of Kershaw, at an affordable price.

Soft Screws & A Uncentered Blade… Disappointed I almost never have to leave bad reviews but this knife managed to earn one. I wanted to like this blade but the blade came uncentered which forced me have to loosen the screws so I can recenter it. One particular screw had to much loctite and it ended up getting stripped. After that, I left it alone and wanted to switch the pocket clip position. One screw in the clip once again had too much loctite (or it was too strong) and it got stripped. I now have a knife I’m not confident in trying to…
Industrial Strength, Heavy I own the 3″ Kershaw Leek and decided to purchase the 2.75″ Cryo. While it has a smaller blade, the Cryo is heavier and feels more industrial strength in your hand. Closed, it is the same length but wider and thicker than the Leek.I originally gave the Cryo a low rating because of the difficulty using the famous Kershaw speedsafe assisted opening (the flipper). Unlike my Kershaw Leek that smoothly and easily flips open, the Cryo took considerable pressure and was painful to…
Great inexpensive knife. Kershaw 155TI Cryo SpeedSafe Folding Knife This Kershaw 155TI Cryo SpeedSafe Folding knife is a fantastic knife. It comes very sharp but I have had it long enough that I have had to sharpen it and it holds the sharp edge fairly well. It is appropriately sized to conceal or carry in your pocket, whatever verbiage you want to use, in the state I live in. I suggest you check your local laws if you are unsure. It will prevent you…
