The 1660CKT Leek from Kershaw includes everything from the Classic Leek, now with a sleek, non-reflective DLC matte-black coating. The Leek’s Razor Sharp 3-inch modified Drop-Point blade is crafted with 14C28N Sandvik steel, providing excellent corrosion resistance and hardness. The blade performs masterfully in its slicing capacity, while the slim tip provides excellent piercing action and performs detailed work well. The handle is made of 410 stainless steel for added resistance to corrosion and rust. Finished with a micron-thin DLC coating (Diamond-Like Carbon), the knife wears a full-body matte-black finish and a hard, scratch resistant surface, for looks that match the knife’s top-of the line performance. One-handed operation is easy with Kershaw’s SpeedSafe assisted opening system, while a built-in frame lock safely holds the blade open during use and a Tip-lock slider securely keeps the blade closed during transport.

Almost perfect. I purchased the knife one of the times it fell in price. It’s a slender knife and fairly light. I like the assisted opening. I usually carry it with the lock off and have not had it open in my pocket. I do usually carry it in the small watch/coin pocket on my jeans. So it is unlikely to open anyway. The only thing I don’t like is the carry clip and it’s not because it’s not a deep carry clip. That would be nice if it was. The problem I have is with the finish on the clip. The knife has a…
All good except for the clip! This knife has everything going for it (to me): All black, very slim, very quick assisted opening, good steel, VERY slim in the pocket with nothing to tear your hands up when fishing in pocket, a lock (which is handy because this thing is very pointy!) frame lock, light(ish). All good except for one thing: the clip. If it had a deep carry clip it would be the PERFECT slim edc knife. The knife sticks out of the pocket way too far. It is way too easy push the knife down over the pocket and…
A really Sexy Knife. Sturdy, quick, one-handed, and razor sharp Oooh Boy this is a neat little flipper. It is *very* compact with an overall length of 7″ (4″ handle, 3″ blade) when opened and has an extremely thin profile. Barely even notice it when I’m carrying. I have about 7 different knives now, most with different types of steel and brand, and I gotta say, this blade came the sharpest right out of the box out of all my stuff. Sandvik 14C28N steel is American made, so that’s always a nice little plus (if you’re American). The…
