While the table is very sturdy because of the cross-bracing While the table is very sturdy because of the cross-bracing, that same feature makes it hard to use as a table. You cannot sit at the table because the cross-bracing blocks you from putting your legs under the table. So, you have to eat sitting at an odd angle or you have to eat far from the table, which is very awkward.If you need a table for placing moderately heavy loads, like a water jug or camp stove, this is a great table. If you want to eat dinner, not so much.
Look for a better option As other reviewers have mentioned, my table arrived with some dents in the aluminum panels, and with the tabs to secure the end pieces broken off. As also mentioned, the cross braces can be inconvenient. I bought this table to hold handout materials at a trade show, so appreciate the light weight, compact design when broken down, the carry bag, and relatively easy setup. Sturdy enough to stand on!!! (If you weigh less than 170 lbs). This lightweight table is remarkably stable and sturdy. We have one of the other brands that has the partial leg crossbraces (most of the competing brands and models are like that) and it wobbles noticeably. Having a full X crossbrace on all four sides makes a big difference in stability. The top aluminum slats of this KingCamp are much better than the competitors; less space between slats and the ends of the slats have nylon plugs to keep dirt and water out.
