Ended up being the most comfortable sleeping item ever Was reluctant to spend the money for a camping cot. Been sleeping on an compact air mattress during my weeklong bicycle ride across Iowa. (RAGBRAI) However, did purchase this item. Ended up being the most comfortable sleeping item ever. Set up and break down was faster and easier then the air mattress once I got the knack. Watch a u tube video. Did that 3 times and figured it out. Will be using it 7 nights a year so it should last.

Worth every penny! I took this to a disaster relief base camp. I was inside a building on a tile floor and not outside or on dirt. It was “easy” to set up but I did practice before I needed to use it for real. Intellectually, it is easy. Somebody posted a video: watch it. In reality I have pole that is dodgy and takes an inordinate amount of effort to engage and retract. It felt like I would break it. it didn’t. I will probably buy back up poles.
