Works as advertised I only bought this because I have failed to make my own after spent more than $50 on parts and a lot of time, and that this is the cheapest here. It turned out great. This cheaper one is much better than the more expensive $45 one that you can find here, and basically they are the same thing internally with slightly different exterior design. We ran this electric cooler for 3 days in our … We ran this electric cooler for 3 days in our home (ambient temperature 68 degrees), and the internal temperature consistently remained 51-52 degrees Fahrenheit (read from 2 different thermometers). At room temperature, it never cooled below 51 degrees, which is not adequate to keep perishable food or medication refrigerated.
Looks great, perfect size, but stopped working in less than 24 hours I had no issues purchasing, and when I received the mini fridge yesterday it worked great as soon as I plugged it in, getting cold very quickly. However, when I got to work this morning less than 24 hours later, I discovered that it had stopped working. I tried plugging it into a different outlet, unplugging and replugging the AC power cord, but nothing has worked. Sadly I will have to return it. Very disappointed as it was the perfect size for my needs and has a nice sleek design.
