Klymit Static V2
The Static V2 delivers exceptional comfort that weighs just a pound and packs down to the size of a soda can. An excellent choice for backcountry travelers who don’t feel the need to abandon all luxury, the V2’s body-mapped ergonomic design, oversized sleeping area and dynamic side rails cushion and cradle the body for a better night’s sleep. Advanced materials are used to shed weight without sacrificing durability, and the V chamber construction minimizes air movement to maintain maximum insulating performance.
Comfortable Body Mapping Technology: Specially developed V-shaped design delivers superior support and comfort no matter how you sleep. Side Rails: Integrated into the patterning and construction, side rails help provide a secure, comfortable sleep by centering you on the pad. Deep Weld Patterning: Unlike traditional pads that flatten the bag’s fill, Deep Welds create expansion zones that allow your bag to fully loft beneath you for improved thermal comfort. Twist-Pull Valve: Secure and simple, our valve allows for easy inflation, and opens wide for rapid, complete deflation.
Rugged Rugged Material: The 30D Polyester Material on the top provides lightweight comfort with 75D material providing superior tear, puncture and abrasion resistance for minimal weight. Patch Kit: Included for emergency repairs, a patch kit comes stored in a small integrated pocket on the top of the pad’s storage bag – already packed and always at hand. Storage Bag: A storage bag, sized specifically for your pad, is included to maintain compactness and provide protection while traveling.

BUY THIS! Probably the best purchase I’ve ever made. I had the older version which was great, but I lost it somehow. It packs down super small and it’s light. I’m a side sleeper and was concerned about that one impact point that might depress the pad into the ground…nope, worked like a charm. Also, anytime I fly I take it with me even if I’m not camping, just in case of heavily delayed flights
The one sleeping pad everyone should own. Period. I have bought a number of Klymit pads as I love the brand and they always seem to come in handy when I have guests over, family camping trips, picnics, the beach, etc. I even travel with the V2 and have used it in the airport before a few times during unexpected layovers. This really is one of those items that everyone should have to keep in your car, you never know when you might need it. It is extremely compact at about 7 x 3″ and comes in its own little carrying case with a…
Really nice pad. Get the insulated one if you need to be warm A really nice, affordable pad that I sent back. Got the Klymit Static V2 and a 20-degree sleeping bag for Christmas. Tested them out that night in a tarp tent I set up in my garage. The garage temp was around freezing or a little below and I was wearing compression thermals, wool socks, and several torso layers. I live in a Rocky Mountain state so temps around freezing are common when backpacking in the summer and this was a realistic experiment. I had planned to sleep there all night but at…
