Beautiful but quality not up to expectations Although these are beautiful, I have never seen flatware stain and scratch like this. Any drop of liquid left on these for a few hours leaves a water stain that will not come off and after 2 weeks of use, this has significant scratches I have never had on my previous (less beautiful, less expensive) flatware. Unfortunately, the quality is apparently not up to par.
a rusty disappointment Had my new flatware for a little over a week now, and spots of rust are beginning to form. I have an old set of Oneida with the satin finish, 18/10, and have had them for over 10 years. No rust. Granted, we live south of Houston, so the humidity here is daunting…things rust. But, really? A week? The knork is NOT cheap, paid over $100- got the 18/10, also. Am very disappointed because I loved the finish, the “heft” of the pieces, everything about them….’cept the rust, & that’s…
classy and sturdy flatware I’m very happy with this set of flatware. They just feel really high quality. All the parts are thicker than usual so nothing is bendy. Very very sturdy. At the same time, they look and feel very classy in an understated sort of way that I normally associate with Scandinavian design. I am regularly running them through the dishwasher and have observed no issues. They are holding up the way an 18/10 alloy is supposed to. I’m buying a second set to supplement my first purchase.
