I was looking for a good pillow that could compact small enough to fit in … I was looking for a good pillow that could compact small enough to fit in my backpack, but didn’t want it to be an inflatable pillow and I also wanted the pillow to be thick enough to actually be considered a pillow. This pillow had everything I was looking for. I used this pillow for 3 straight weeks camping and had a good sleep with it every night.
Comfortable but not totally portable First, all the people who got it free for their review makes me a little bitter that I’m reviewing it for nothing in return. The pillow after washing fluffs right up and will be very comfortable for my upcoming trip. The trouble is it’s very very (very) hard to stuff into the little built-in pocket, my husband had to muscle it in for me. Even then it’s still kind of big, the size of a very dense loaf of bread. I wish it had a clip so I can attach it to the outside of my suitcase.
Better than expected Was debating between this and the medium Therm-a-Rest meduim pillow, opted for this one based on price, availability and reviews. Very surprised but have to admit, didn’t know what to expect. We have used “My Pillow” brand pillows for some time now and love them so when traveling, the usual options leave a lot to be desired. I was looking for something compact to use both on a plane and the occasional camping deal.
