The steel is good.. Do your research. The steel is good… the flint can be good or shoddy. Develop your skills and abilities with flint & steel. The steel is well crafted. You starting a fire with it is based off the quality of the flint and your skill with the steel. When I first purchased this product but after a few days of use it was definitely user error.
Dunno about this one The Flint rock that I received wasn’t bad. Couldn’t get a spark from the steel. Tried the same rock on another steel that I purchased from zombie tinder, and Sparks flew. Makes me wonder if the steel striker in this kit is garbage.
KonvoySG Flint and a Steel Striker, minus flint The steel is OK, though I have doubts it is “Hand forged” as advertised. It looks like it was stamped out and then painted. The flint I got is a joke. The rock I got is almost all white crust, Useless for a steel striker. There is a small bit of flint in the middle of it, but not enough to use as intended.
