Gives a nice icy breeze! Easy to use. We do not have central air in our home, we only have window ac units. Our kids rooms get really hot and stuffy in the summer. We wanted to try a portable ac unit like this one to see if it would help. My son says it helps a lot! Works as it’s supposed to!! The only part I dont like is the tray in the back where you add ice is very small and it’s hard to fit cubes in there.
Portable AC! Looks like a mini computer tower, would fit right in if you work in a hot office. It was easy to fill and unlike that the water storage drawer locks. When I turned this on I got a blast of cool air and they was on the lowest setting. I bought this for my husband because he is always hot and this way he can cool off without freezing me out. The drip tray is great for keeping your surface dry.
Not very effective After reading all the 5 star reviews for this product, I decided it would be good for the days when it got excessively hot. I live in a very small apartment and just needed something to keep me a bit more comfortable. I put it on a table less than a foot away from me. At first it seemed to be just the ticket, but once the outside temperature got to about 80 degrees, it just became ineffective. I find my regular oscillating fan worked just as well, if not better.
