One issue. I really love this. Super cute. Super comfortable. I do have one complaint. I only left in out once in very light rain. I noticed some darkening of the wood after just that one time so since then I have stored this in a shed that’s both dry walled & insulated & only take it out when I want to use it. In spite of the all the extra care, one of the spreader bars is curving.
How did this hammock rate 4-5 stars? I can’t believe I paid $99 for this hammock. After hanging the hammock I noticed several rivets are separating from the fabric at both the top and bottom spreader bars. The stitching is also very uneven and the material is rather thin. Upon closer inspection I noticed the tattered shipping box had been opened and taped shut. I made this purchase based on the 5 star reviews others left. I understand I may have received someone else’s used goods, but that still doesn’t explain the overall…
Just the thing! So, this is great, 6 weeks in and no mold, washes big stuff off with a damp cloth. Key thing is no mold in this humid environment. Concerning weight limit: yes, by mindful. My kids made best attempts to destroy this thing, jumping in and overloading, then the dog jumped in there. This was under severe abuse for 2 weeks, and only small pulls in the fabric appeared around the metal grommets where the ropes attach along the fabric.
