Very durable, a little heavy but its built to last First impression, the box that it came with looked very plain and I wasn’t sure what order it was until I remembered. It was just a black box, but inside was packaged properly. It was incased in plastic and the manual was neatly folded up inside. Advertised as new. NOT!!! Shame on me for not reading every single word about this compass. I missed the part that we cannot return it. Came out of the box scratched up. No way we can give this as a gift. Itâs only $20, but itâs the principle. But again- my bad for not reading the fine print. Live and learn. Big Fan Of Eaggle Compasses I now own a couple of Eaggle compasses, mostly because I like the craftsmanship and the price. This model is no exception! The compass works as described and is very well made The movement is very fluid and extremely accurate. Constructed out of metal and some plastic (to cut weight) it’s definitely durable in the places where it matters. I would recommend this compass to anyone looking for a low-cost quality item for the outdoors.
