For years multitool users could choose from two distinct options when it came to a “one-hand-operable” multitool: one-hand-opening pliers OR one-hand-opening blades. Today, Leatherman has taken these two well-loved ideas and fused them into the first ever, 100% one-hand-operable multitool, the Leatherman OHT. This industry-first tool features spring-loaded pliers and wire-cutters so you don’t tire your hand adjusting and readjusting your grip. Handles with visual imprints of the tool beneath make for quick identification. A lifesaving strap cutter and oxygen bottle wrench, threading for common-size cleaning rods and much more make this a one-handed workhorse of a tool. Closed Length: 4.5 in (11.5 cm); Weight: 9.9 oz (280.6 g); Primary Blade Length: 2.37 in (6 cm).

Excellent replacement for my lost “Leatherman Pocket Survival Tool” Excellent replacement for my lost “Leatherman Pocket Survival Tool”. After carrying my Pocket Survival Tool (PST) around nearly everywhere I went for over 10 years, I lost it. So I searched for a replacement, since the PST is no longer made. This OHT doesn’t have exactly the same tools on it, but it is pretty similar. The pliers are much better on the OHT than the PST. The OHT has all the tools that I want to carry with me everywhere. I splurged an extra 10 bucks to get the brown/tan…

Negative reviews likely represent early manufacturing problems Top notch product – solidly built, heafty feel and very fast deployment of tools. I was a bit reluctant because of early reviews claiming poor finish and metal quality (420HC). The knives are now 154CM. My unit was flawless out of the box. The knife isn’t impressive in size, but it’s razor sharp (Nice that they’re are two knives). Also the pouch – I got tan molle and it is definitely at spec.As with any radically different product, there are going to be issues with early…

Ehhh… I’ve always had bias toward Leatherman. My dad has carried a leatherman since the mid-nineties that he used at home and at work. He still carries a Leatherman Supertool with him everyday. However, that has changed. I’m an industrial mechanic and these multi-tools get a torture test from me that they won’t get with an average Joe. Any shortcomings are revealed quickly. My work issues Gerber MP600s to mechanics. The one they gave me lasted a little over a year. When it did break it was just…
