Both durable and gorgeous, works for fine and casual dining. Normally, I wouldn’t use a mug this pricy for everyday use. But, as advertised, it Is indeed chip- resistant…so much so that we’ve had several accidentally fall to the floor and not a single one shattered (our floor Is hardwood)..While these are beautiful year round, I particularly love using them while entertaining guests outdoors during the summer. They go through the dishwasher regularly – with no sign of fading yet and we’ve had these for over a year. .
. A pattern which is even more stunning in real life and a tip to save money. A tip if you love the Chirp pattern ( as I do) but are on a budget: these mix and match beautifully with white china plates of similar weight and quality.
Amazing durability & quality, very attractive – worth the price! I initially ordered this set thinking the price was a set of 4 place settings, not just one setting with the 4 items: dinner plate, salad plate, bowl and cup. I was actually looking for something inexpensive and somewhat durable because we seem to replace our sets about once a year because they end up looking terrible with chips, cracks, or missing pieces that we have to throw away when they break entirely.
