Disappointed how long this filter lasts Disappointed how long this filter lasts. For us, it only lasts about 2 months… then water starts tasting like our tap water. Was expecting 6 months out of it. Have tried it twice. Not sure best option since this is the OEM version and not some knockoff.
Too expensive Fits perfect. 50 bucks every 6 months makes the filtered water more expensive than bottled water. Lg needs to rethink the price 20 dollars would be Fare.
Much better price than other sellers No choice if you have an LG refrigerator: you have to buy their filters! I replace mine every 6 months (it does get pricey) but live alone and have a water treatment system on my whole house, so only use water from the fridge to drink. I imagine if you are a family of 3-4 or more, you would need to replace every 2-3 months.
