Kit includes main container bottom (doubles as a plate/bowl), main container top (doubles as a plate), two SnapBox waterproof containers with lids (one oval and one triangular), a Light My Fire Spork and rubber Harness. The Spork is an all-in-one utensil that won’t scratch cookware. All components nest into main container. Great if you really need and will use all the pieces. Great kit. We bought for use while camping and have found that we rarely use more than the outer two pieces and spork. The lid when flipped over acts as a plate and the bottom is a large bowl. there are two smaller bowls included which would work well for additional side items. the rubber strap keeps everything together, but since we dont use the two smaller containers much we dont really use the rubber strap either. We have since downsized to the set which is just the top bottom and spork.
Nice set for Cub Scout Mess Kit This is a well-made, stylish and functional set for a picnic or camping. I also have the slightly more expensive Meal Kit which has 2 additional pieces (a slicing board and a collapsible silicone cup). Depending on your preference, both sets work well. The 2 samller containers have tight lids so you can pack small items (such as trail mix) inside. For some reason the largest container & lid cannot be tightly sealed so you can only keep it shut with the rubber harness. As such, I only…
High quality and durable! I bought 2 of these- one for me, and one for my GF. What I did not know is that this kit is slightly smaller than the 8 piece kit, so if you get the parts for that set to include with this one, it’s a squeeze.
