Designed especially for Light My Fire by Scandinavian design Joachim Nordwall, the LunchKit BIO is a handy all-in-one meal kit, perfect for lunch or a snack. The kit includes 1 lid that functions as a plate (500 ml), 1 deep bottomed bowl that also function as a plate (900 ml), 1 SnapBox Original (170 ml) food storage container, a SnapBox Oval (320 ml) storage container, and 1 Light My Fire Spork Original. It also includes a harness to keep the kit all together. Tight-fitting, snap-lock lids keep contents inside the waterproof SnapBoxes instead of all over your bag. This mess kit is especially versatile thanks to the Light My Fire Spork Original that’s a spoon-fork-knife combo. The beauty of this kit is that it all nests inside itself for a compact and transportable meal on the go. Lastly, all components are dishwasher and microwave safe, and are made from Biobased plastics that are 100% BPA-free. This makes the kit versatile to use as a lunchbox for school or work.

Great design and size, but mine is not actually waterproof I like the look and feel of this nesting food storage kit. I have used it for lunches (not for camping yet), and it’s easy to use, store, and clean. The strap that locks the set together is a thoughtful addition, and the size and weigh ensure this is a truly portable kit. It is touted as being made from BPA free, BioBased plastics, and both are important to me. I prefer my bamboo utensils to the spork but it works in a pinch.Two things cause me to hold back a star. Handy camping lunch kit made from bioplastic The large container bottom functions as a bowl or plate and holds 900 ml. The lid to that also functions are a plate and holds 500 ml. The SnapBox Original holds 170 ml; while the SnapBox Oval holds 320 ml. These all fit together well when you are using the largest container to hold the smaller containers. A nice little camping mess set This is a very adequate mess kit. Size is about right. The all-in-one knife-spork is ergonomic. The while thing fits together. It’s easy to eat out of. All in all quite good.I only have two complaints. The first is the lack of a drinking cup. It would be nice if everything necessary was in the kit.The second is the triangular elastic strap which holds the whole thing together. It works fine for now, but if experience is any guide it will tear or get lost long before the rest…
