Handy BPA-free camping kit This is a mess kit for 2 made out of durable plastic. In the kit, you get 2 shallow (7/8”) triangular plastic plates and 1 deeper triangular dish (1 ½”), 2 8-oz collapsible silicone rubber cups with attached sippy lids, and 2 sporks which have serrated cutting edges on one side of the fork ends, plus a silicone band to hold the kit together and a mesh carry bag. Best for Camping–Not taking lunch to work This looked like such a cool thing. Well, it kind of is and is kind of just a gimmick. The cute, compact design is only useful or functional for storing the set between uses. I suppose if you are camping and need to pack this set along as your “dishes” for the campsite, then it’s nice for that–small and portable for a backpack. For those applications you are likely to have food that doesn’t need to be heated or you will have access to a microwave. Maybe even for camping, or day hike, so long as you are not looking to also cook with it- as it is not meant for flame or direct heat.
