The Light My Fire Titanium Spork is a perfectly designed outdoor eating utensil that brings a bit of civilization to the wild and a bit of the wild to civilization. Designed especially for Light My Fire by Scandinavian designer Joachim Nordwall, the Titanium Spork is a spoon-fork-knife combo with a serrated edge on the side of the fork and a slightly textured center that provides an anti-slip grip. Titanium is one of the toughest, most durable alloys on the planet and has excellent resiliency, meaning the Titanium Spork’s shape can be restored if it bends slightly (for example, dishing very cold ice cream). Titanium is widely used in aircraft construction because of its lightness and extreme strength, yet it is also used in surgical and dental implants. The polished titanium surface of the Titanium Spork offers a high biocompatibility that is non-toxic and does not produce a metallic taste. Non-corrosive and non-magnetic, the Light My Fire Titanium Spork is perfect for the backpack, boat, picnic basket, lunch box, purse, glove box or briefcase; it’s even TSA approved. The Titanium Spork is compatible with any Light My Fire Meal Kit or Spork Cases designed for original Light My Fire Sporks. Dishwasher safe. Length: 6.75 inches (17 cm); Thickness: 0.04 inches (1 mm); Weight: 0.7 oz. (20 g). Designed in Sweden, made in China. One year manufacturer’s warranty. One of my favorite backpacking and for everyday use utensils! One of my favorite backpacking and for everyday use utensils! After getting one for me to try it, I have bought maybe 7 or 8 more as presents. Light and durable, a bit uncomfortable to hold when using the fork, and will bend if too much pressure applied, but if used smart it will serve you for a very long time.
Vargo, Toaks, Light My Fire, Snow Peak A nice short, fat, light and durable hiking utensil. I like it a little better than the long spork.
I’m madly in love with this spork. My trusty friend, a plastic Light My Fire spork, passed away last year. He lost a terrible fight with a particularly heavy textbook that took place in my backpack one day. We had spent so many happy times together–in the Tetons, on the Appalachian Trail, and countless packed lunches in college.
