The eXplorist 350H is a powerful, rugged and waterproof (IPX-7) handheld outdoor GPS designed for the hunter. The 350H has an easy to use interface and is equipped with high–sensitivity SiRFstarIII GPS with 3-5 meter accuracy and dedicated hunt features that include over 30 hunt specific waypoints, preloaded GMU’s and WMU’s and a detailed base map with contour elevations for navigating in the backcountry. The eXplorist 350H has dedicated menu to select specific USA or Canadian hunting zones based on GMU & WMU supplied data for each state or province. Once a state or province is selected the GMU and WMU borders will be visible on the 350H map display.

The 350H comes with a pre-loaded hunt calendar. Stay within legal hunting hours by knowing sunrise and sunset times. Identify moon phases to determine prime hunting days and see recommended hunt times based on the sun and moon’s affect on animal activity.

Best so far Small, durable, picks up a signal inside the house, buttons respond well, screen looks great… awesome product. I own several GPS units (Etrex, Triton 400, Garmin Oregon), and this is the best one yet. I hunt, geocache, hike, etc.
I’m now highly disappointed in this product I bought this item about a year ago, used it last year to hunt. Marked all my spots, it did everything I needed and wanted. I loved it. It’s been sitting in my hunting box for about 6 months, off, no batteries in it. I just pulled it out to start planning this years hunt and it no longer loads. It loads the top part of the word Magellan and stops. It won’t connect to the computer for an update in an attempt to fix it. Hard reset fixes nothing, reloads the same, only part of the word, not even…
Outstanding, innovative GPS This GPS unit was exactly what I was looking for in a unit to be used for hunting. The screen size looked small at first, but in use it was more than adequate to see what I needed to. It is extremely easy to download satellite imagery to the unit with the VantagePoint software from Magellan. I am anxiously awaiting the release of WMA maps for the Southern states, as they have not been developed yet. The ability to mark hunting-specific land features while out in the woods is a vital…
