Sturdy, but better for hot dogs than marshmellows. These clean easy and store easy. My granddaughter felt comfortable using them to roast marshmallows. Two reasons I didn’t give it five stars. One is that the prongs are far apart so when you roast the marshmallow it can rotate around the prong since it won’t fit over both prongs. Two is because they give you 5 sticks, but two are the same color. Would be nice to have five different colors. The kids like to go back to their same stick. Worth every penny!!!! These marshmallow sticks arrived just in time for the 4th of July weekend!!! They are in great condition, really sturdy and long, the different colors are a huge plus. Also, when I extend them all the way they still feel really sturdy, which was my main concern as I have a reptile who I sometimes handle with a device similar to this and unfortunately that stick is a little flimsy. Excellent sticks for yummy marshmallows These are great sticks. Compact to carry around but plenty of length to keep everyone at a safe distance from the fire. The handles are comfortable and the kids like the colors. You can rotate just the metal pole although I find it easier to rotate the whole thing. The bag is nice to have too. The sticks come with rubber caps but they are easily lost. So far the sticks have not poked through the bag without the caps but it’ll probably happen at some point.
