Good fit, well made, excellent boot! Rugged, well made boot. Bought for winter use. Discovered the sole is made by Vibram and I love their toe shoes. Very impressed with the boot and glad I purchased them.
1st pair were junk. 2nd pair good. Iâm a size 13 regular in pretty much everything and these fit as expected. The first pair a received are the ones in the pictures. There was too much material in the toe-box area and it caused the bunching effect you see in the pics. This was unacceptable to me and I sent them back for another pair. Mother of All Disappointment! BUT Merrell staff have been awesome! Since I never review products, I am submitting this review in hopes that someone will avoid the disappointment I experienced in this boot. This is my 3rd and final pair of Merrell MOABs. My local outfitter did not have my boot so ordered via Amazon. All good with that! I needed a pair of WATERPROOF lightweight hikers for backpacking the Long Trail in Vermont.
