Only thing worn on my two-year-old pair is the tread. I just ordered my second pair of these. I bought the first pair over two years ago and would have bought another pair sooner if I wasn’t pinching pennies right now. That said, these have lasted a good long while, and I hike A LOT â at least twice or three times a week, 4-10 miles each time, so I really should be buying these once or twice a year, since the rule of thumb is once you log 500 miles, you should get a new pair. Amazing shoe I have had these shoes for 5 years and they have been awesome (just checked my purchase date and I couldn’t believe it)! I regularly walk a few miles at a time on both sidewalks and dirt or gravel trails, and I’m amazed how well these have held up. Lately, I’ve been walking 7 miles or more, and my feet are pretty sore after all that, but I attribute that to the cushioning breaking down after all these years.
