My favorite hiking shoe Sorely disappointed in a different brand of hiking shoe, I decided to replace my Merrells, as they’d served me so well for so many years. I am floored they are still making the Moab Ventilator, and exactly as they made it 3 or 4 years ago when I bought my original pair!
Not quite what I was expecting I am an avid Merrell shoe fan. I have worn them for walking and at work for over 15 years. They fit my feet and have great support. I have taken new Sirens out of the box and walked for more than 5 miles, with happy feet when I return (& the next day too). Every 6 months or so I purchase a new pair, so I can rotate for wearing & I know I have a couple of pairs for longer walks – mostly I have Sirens. Sole Separates From the Heel. Bought these shoes for my wife and the soles separated from the fabric after one, 8 mile hike. I thought Merrell was a good brand but apparently I was wrong.
