Nick Whitworth says:

Great radio with one flaw I put this radio in my truck with a 5ish foot antenna that someone gave me. I removed the ash tray from under my radio and mounted it there. The radio is very small, so it’s out of the way (though the mic cable does block my cup holder)

Melissa R says:

Radio excellent for the price; microphone DOA Radio works well and came tuned perfectly (confirmed with separate SWR meter)! The 3-star review is because of the microphone. It’s faulty and doesn’t work. Thankfully I had my Cobra microphone lying around and plugged it in instead – worked like a charm! My setup is in a VW Jetta, fits perfectly and doesn’t crowd out my legs.

Great little basic CB! So, you’re sitting there viewing this page in your browser, perhaps with a look of doubt in your face. That’s why you’ve scrolled down here to the reviews. You’re thinking to yourself “A $30 CB? It can’t be worth a flip, right?”. I tell ya what, I was thinking the same thing. But I gave it a shot and installed it in my wife’s little ’97 Corolla a few days ago, and so far I’ve been pretty impressed.
