The Midland LXT118 is a 22 Channel GMRS with up to 18 Mile Range and packed in pairs. The LXT118 features channel scan to check for activity, Auto Squelch to remove annoying background noise, 1 Level of VOX, and Accessory Jacks that may be used with the Midland’s AVP1, AVPH1, AVPH2, AVPH3, AVPH4, and AVPH5 Headsets. With the dual power option, the LXT118 operates on 3 AAA batteries (Not Included) or rechargeable batteries (Not Included)

Good value for the money, not the best. Good value for the money, but doesn’t hold a charge as long as some the Motorola ones, and when battery is done, it locks up the channel you are using, and the only way to turn it off it to remove battery or wait an hour till it totally dies.
Durable and good quality. I purchased these for my son to play with his friend who lives down the street. I’m really impressed with them. I can drive to the grocery store a mile away and still get a signal at my home that is clear.
A must have for vacation Great walkie talkies. They work great in our cruise vacation. With all that steel around it never dropped or fade away.
