Round spoon lover I really love these. I’m really particular about the shape of my spoons, I like them to be roundish like a soup spoon opposed to having a slender little oval spoon. These are great! The weight is awesome and they are very sturdy. I dry off any additional droplets of water after washing to ensure no water spots. I really like this set!

Stamped Junk For some reason I thought Mikasa was good stuff, but I was wrong. It’s not that it looks bad – it’s an attractive set, a little lightweight, but well balanced and shaped. But they’re incredibly cheap. They scar and scratch with a double sided sponge, the edges get sharp nicks in the dishwasher. I left two pieces in a bowl for too long and food acid ate into the finish (for real!). The finish is nice when new, so you don’t notice how lightweight it is, but this stuff is stamped junk with a nice…

Tarnished & rusted during first washing. This silverware set is beautiful. We marvel at it every time we pull the pieces out of the dishwasher – they’re SUPER shiny and reflective. The weight in hand is substantial. The butter knives cut through sandwiches with no problem (a VERY big deal when you have littles who love eating PB&J sandwiches all the time). Overall, I was ready to give it five stars after its first use. I REALLY wanted to give this set 5 stars, and I would’ve – had the knives not tarnished and rusted the first…
