Color slightly different than shown… I use this for a vase. It has exactly the country charm I was looking for, and appears as photo shows, EXCEPT: to me the photo is white/ slightly cream, but the vase has a definite greenish cream hue, such that it doesn’t match any of my other white or cream pieces at all. That being said, the quality is fine, and it was well packaged, and I do enjoy it, so I’m happy with my purchase overall. Could not deduct 1/2 star, so I left it a “5”.
Love these, nice & deep, perfect for soup & cereal, or ice cream. Purchased as a supplement to my set, as I already had the wide, flat bowls that are great for salads, thick soups & pasta. These are perfect for cereal, ice cream, or thinner/chunky soups and fruit. Be aware, that they don’t fit well in most dishwashers, so if you don’t have room to lay them flat in the top rack, you may have to adjust the tines on your bottom rack, if your dishwasher can do that, or hand wash them. Color does not match other French Countryside pieces. I bought this as a gift for my wife as part of the French Countryside dinnerware set we already have. The color of the pitcher is NOT what is shown in the online photo and does not match the other pieces. The pitcher we received is an ivory color, more yellow than the creamy white of the dinnerware set and serving pieces. My wife is terribly disappointed and the pitcher has been returned. It is the first and only Mikasa piece that has not lived up to expectation.
