The design on the bowl is “muddled” and does not really resemble the nice look of the original dishes Ordered these in July 2018 to replace some of my original Mikasa Italian Countryside bowls from 15-20 years ago. These bowls from Amazon are barely acceptable. They are cheaply made. The design on the bowl is “muddled” and does not really resemble the nice look of the original dishes. Also the color is more white than the original bone color. They actually look like cheap knock-offs. I will not buy these again from Amazon – will go to Replacements.com and search for the *original*…
Not âdishwasher safe!â Beautiful when arrived, but first time through dish washer the white surface became pock-marked even though the back of the holder indicates it to be âdishwasher safe, microwave safe.â
My Favorite Everyday Pattern Having owned Mikasa’s Italian Countryside for many years, I still love it and use it everyday for its versatility with many different seasonal colors. It’s well-made, pretty design holds up well to multiple use in the dishwasher. These bowls are no exception. I highly recommend Mikasa’s Italian Countryside for everyday use, and additionally, for special occasions.
