do not expect German quality… It is what it is. very thin aluminum, low price, not well fitted, SOFT. however, I can fix it with hands and use it.
Luckily there is only a sticker on the bottom that betrays its origins and can be easily peeled off Made in China….is there anything else that needs to be said? I was slightly disappointed by the quality of reproduction in this mess kit I was slightly disappointed by the quality of reproduction in this mess kit. Of course it is made in China, which kind of speaks for itself, but I did at least hope the latch holding the contents of the mess kit together would function well enough to hold all the components together. Out of the box the mess kit latch was extremely loose, to the point where if the mess kit was gently swung around the latch would not hold. I bent the bottom part of the latch in order to create more of an angle…
