The top separates from the bottom when washing. The top separates from the bottom when washing. The set itself is beautiful with thick silicone ends and handles that are made for a firm and safe hold. They are not floppy. Great! However, there is a seam between the top and bottom parts that comes unglued after a couple of washes. I am good with that, so long as they don’t separate while I am cooking with them. If they do; I am sending them back!
Poor Quality – Not Recommended This product is just poorly made. There is separation between the metal and the and the silicone ends, right out of the box. The edges of the metal where it meets the silicone are jagged and the metal hanger ends do not move smoothly and get stuck, The handles are not molded into the silicone ends, but are pressed together as separate parts. Once was wood…they should have left it at that. I was lucky enough to get the wood handles before they were discontinued and I love this set. Such a feeling of luxury in the kitchen and the wood handles give that organic hard wood feel that makes it all balanced. Now they went to stainless I doubt I will follow. Something about wood in kitchen tools. Or it’s me reminiscing about my grandma whipping my ass with a wooden spoon. Either way, great tools.
