Product sticker Have to agree with other reviews, nothing wrong with the actual plate, however, the product sticker covers the entire bottom of the plate (where the food goes), and the sticker is glued firmly to the plate, had to repeatedly scrub plate with brillo pad to remove glue, which eventually did scratch the plate–which I would guess would lead to tiny places for bacteria to thrive. Great Plate for Feline Dining These plates are fantastic. The stainless steel is easy to clean and more sanitary, nor will it break if dropped like ceramic dishes. The dish is flat enough that the cat’s whiskers don’t touch the sides. The non-slip bottom keeps it from moving around while the cat eats. The round shape is actually better than oval bowls because the cat can eat from any direction. Of course the lower rim does allow some food to get pushed off the plate sometimes but our cats usually clean up whatever ends…
Quality not equal to Durapet bowls Undisputed is the superiority of stainless steel for pet feeding dishes. I personally favor the Durapet dishes, but I ordered the Molor dishes based on a review claiming cats don’t like their whiskers to touch the sides of bowls.
