Their product description states the material is waterproof. This was not my experience. This pack is comfortable and fits well. Good for a few small items. Today I found out that it’s not waterproof. I was in the rain for about a half hour for my commute. The magazine I had in the laptop compartment got wet. So If you plan on placing sensitive electronics in this pack, keep an eye on the weather and if t’s going to rain use something else.
A nice size and good enough to fit my Surface go, but could you please spray it with MORE chemicals? This is a nice bag but OMG is this loaded with chemicals to where it makes you sick. If you buy this, do yourselves a favor and buy a can of Febreeze and spray this down with it for a few seconds. Febreeze is so good that it even gets out gasoline smell from your shoes if you step into gasoline spilled at a self-serve pump…. and it works well here. I like it Love this bag. I am using it for travel and /or trips out with my kids. For work travel, I was able to fit my 14inch laptop inside (tight fit, but it fit). Also held my charger, phone, paperback book, and more at the same time. Super convenient. Nice size. Feels more like a big purse than a backpack.
