The communication range quoted is calculated based on an unobstructed line of sight test under optimum conditions. Actual range will vary depending on terrain and conditions, and is often less than the maximum possible. Your actual range will be limited by several factors including, but not limited to: terrain, weather conditions, electromagnetic interference and obstructions.

POOR battery life also POOR battery life also, last about 1-3 hours. Also battery gauge is sporadic, at one moment it’s full, the other moment it’s beeping because it has a low battery level. This is NOT the Motorola walkie talkies were use to before the Motorola split.I also have a pair of T600 h2o’s and battery life on those are great, except they are not waterproof as the company claims, unless your consider hanging them out to dry before using them again as waterproof.

Dont waste your time or money The product description says these radios have a range of 20 plus miles when you read it online. When you get the box it states approx 10 miles in the city and 20 miles in the suburbs or more rural parts of town. I purchased these for 3 young girls for Christmas. We went to the Pocono mountains in Pennsylvania. Could not get a more rural area in our state. The radios has less then 1 mile range. Dont waste your time or money.
